The right to bear arms

The second amendment was ratified in a time where the US were just born, a fragile state just out of a bloody war. Every single men had to be able to defend the newborn state from foreign woes. US needed a legal basis: and so 2nd amendment was born. That time is long gone, US is nowadays more that capable to fend off any enemy on its path. The citizens need that right no more, and keeping it makes you a bit more medieval than others. I thank every day not to live in the US, I thank every day not to live in a country where a trespasser can (sometimes) be shot dead even if not threatening another life, without any major consequences for the shooter.

The weekend

has been harsh but satisfactory. My new Lan is up and running smoothly (if we do not consider the powerline adapters, they stink!).

Life

Life is odd. All in all worth the pain you go through. 🖖

La lettura

La lettura di un testo è come fissare il cielo in una notte stellata: all’inizio, scorgi a stento due o tre stelle, poi, più lo leggi e più significati scopri. (Morrison)

Who rules over you

Sounds legit: To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize.
